CHALLENGE: Velsipity is Pfizer’s answer to ulcerative colitis (a chaotic bowel disease similar to Crohn’s). Not only was the market over-saturated with brands promising the same thing, it was Pfizer’s first foray into the category. They needed to let people know about their product while differentiating it from the pharmaceutical brands that all seem to swim in the sea of sameness.

SOLUTION: We cut through the nonsense and told the truth. Opting to steer far away from the external benefits of taking the medicine, we focused on the internal aspects of the condition. We created a manifestation of the disease state, and showed how Velsipity can calm this thing down enough to make it something patients can live with it - even if they’d still rather not.

CHALLENGE: Velsipity is Pfizer’s answer to ulcerative colitis, a disease similar to Crohn’s. However, it was Pfizer’s first foray into the category and there were tons of established brands already in market that were largely promising similar results.

SOLUTION: Rather than focus on the externalization of the end benefits through established tropes like hiking, cycling, rafting, and every other outdoor activity known to humankind, we decided to tell the truth. We turned the disease state into a rowdy little creature that could be kept calm with Velsipity.
